MK Dons confirm that assistant manager Mick Harford has departed the club after just one season.

A statement on MK Dons' official website has confirmed that assistant manager Mick Harford has departed the club after just one season.

The former Luton Town manager joined Karl Robinson's staff in 2012, but it is understood that the 54-year-old will now seek pastures new.

"Mick has today confirmed his departure and will now seek a new challenge away from MK Dons," read the statement.

"The club would like to place on record its thanks to Mick for all of his work over the last 12 months and wishes him the best of luck with his future endeavours."

Harford has thus far not commented to the media.
