Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has praised his side's risk-taking prowess during the second half of their Premier League game away at Burnley, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
George Boyd opened the scoring for the hosts in the 34th minute, but Magpies striker Papiss Cisse equalised just three minutes after the restart to ensure a share of the spoils.
Pardew told reporters after the game: "I'm absolutely delighted with [the result] - we didn't play in the first half and Burnley had a lot to do with that. We didn't risk enough.
"We took risks in the second half and were a different class. It's as good a point we've got all season. The pitch was difficult tonight - it was was slippery and slidy."
Newcastle are 10th in the Premier League table following the draw.
