Alan Pardew to be absent for rest of season with 10-game stadium ban?

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is reportedly expected to face a 10-game stadium ban for allegedly headbutting Hull City midfielder David Meyler.

Newcastle United could reportedly be without their manager Alan Pardew for the remainder of their match days this season after he was charged by the Football Association.

The 52-year-old is likely to face punishment from the governing body after he appeared to headbutt Hull City midfielder David Meyler on the touchline at the KC Stadium during the Magpies' 4-1 victory on Saturday.

After the FA deemed the incident "non-standard", it is believed that Pardew could be away from the touchline for the rest of Newcastle's season with a 10-game stadium ban expected to be issued, according to The Mirror.

Pardew, who apologised for his actions after the match, has been fined £100,000 by the North-East club.
