Ryan Taylor has agreed a new contract with Newcastle United to ensure his stay at the club until 2015.
The 27-year-old has been a key member of Alan Pardew's squad this season as the Magpies have surprised many to sit sixth in the Premier League with under two months of the campaign left.
Taylor said: "I'm over the moon. It's been a quiet one to get done and didn't take long. I stated not so long ago that I would love to stay here, and that has always been the case."
Goalkeeper Tim Krul and defender Fabricio Coloccini have also recently signed new deals at the club.
Taylor joined Newcastle United in 2009 from Wigan Athletic.
