Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor has claimed that he is "looking forward" to seeing loan signing Loic Remy pull on a Magpies shirt this season.
The Frenchman moved to St James' Park earlier this week on a season-long loan from Queens Park Rangers.
"He adds something different with the pace he has got and the strength he has got," Taylor told Sky Sports News. "We are delighted he has signed and we are looking forward to seeing him play."
Newcastle's first clash of the new season is against Manchester City on August 19.
