Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has revealed that he will look to buy a striker in the summer.
The Magpies sold Demba Ba to Chelsea in the January transfer window, but missed out on replacement Loic Remy to Queens Park Rangers.
Despite the arrival of Yoan Gouffran from Bordeaux, Pardew believes that his team needs a big-name signing up front.
"When we lost out on Remy, it was pretty evident we weren't going to get a big striker," he told the Evening Chronicle.
"You look around and nobody apart from Remy has really moved - maybe Danny Graham, but I don't think he's in that level.
"I think that's something we will look at in the summer."
Newcastle are expected to come up against former striker Ba when they host Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.
