Juventus have reportedly identified Real Madrid midfielder Isco as a possible alternative to signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United in January.
Pogba's future at Old Trafford appears to be increasingly uncertain having been left out of the starting lineup for United's last two Premier League games, while his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho has been called into question on numerous occasions this season.
The World Cup winner is understood to be top of Juve's transfer wishlist as they look to bring him back to Turin in an £80m deal when the transfer window reopens next month.
Tuttosport reports that the Old Lady are confident of prising Pogba away from United, but are also looking at possible alternatives and could instead spend that £80m on Isco.
The Spanish midfielder is thought to be unhappy at Madrid having struggled for game time under manager Santiago Solari, making only five La Liga starts all season.
Isco would be open to the idea of joining Juve, where he would be reunited with former Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Pogba remains the Italian outfit's priority and Massimiliano Allegri's side are expected to make an official approach in January, despite United's insistence that they will not sell.
