Neil Adams 'sickened' by Norwich City defeat

Norwich City boss Neil Adams slams his team following their late collapse against Nottingham Forest.

Norwich City boss Neil Adams has described his side's late defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday as "sickening".

The Canaries led 1-0 with just five minutes remaining at the City Ground, but two late goals saw Forest earn a 2-1 victory in the Championship encounter.

Norwich, who are just three points above the top half of the table, have now lost three of their last six games in the league.

"It wasn't good enough, it goes without saying. To be caught like we were is a sickening feeling," Adams told the club's official website. "We've thrown the game away today.

"The spotlight shines on us all - manager, coaches, players, the lot. We have to get back on track and back up that table, because it's not nice at all."

Norwich are back in Championship action next Saturday when they welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Carrow Road.
