Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has urged the Canaries to find the consistency necessary to remain in the Premier League.
City enjoyed a 1-0 victory over Champions League-chasing Tottenham Hotspur a fortnight ago before slumping to a 4-1 defeat to Aston Villa last time out.
Hughton's troops have failed to secure back-to-back wins at any time throughout the campaign, and the 55-year-old believes that his side must discover a steady run of form if they are to avoid relegation.
"Our form has been up and down and we haven't had the consistency that we would have liked," he told the club's official website.
"But we are in and around a group of teams that are similar and it's been shown in recent weeks what a win can do and what a defeat does.
"The fact that we are in a position like lots of other teams, we have to make sure we look after our own business, make sure that we do things right and get the results that we need to make life a little bit more comfortable for ourselves."
Norwich, who sit 15th in the Premier League table, four points clear of the drop zone, host Stoke City at Carrow Road on Saturday.
