Billy Davies bemoans lack of Nottingham Forest luck

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies claims that his side had no luck in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Barnsley in the Championship.

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has claimed that luck was not with his side in Saturday's goalless draw with Barnsley in the Championship.

Forest, who hit the woodwork a total of four times at the City Ground, are now two points off the playoff places with two games to play.

"I couldn't ask more from the players," Davies told Sky Sports News. "You have all seen the post hit, the bar hit, all the chances we created, all the crosses and there's no doubt we deserved three points. Lady luck was against us.

"At the moment the breaks are just not going for us but I said to the players after the game that if they take today's form into the last two games they will win them both."

The Reds continue their campaign next Saturday when they travel to Millwall.
