Granada stun Osasuna at El Sadar

Granada record a 2-1 victory in their opening La Liga clash on the road at Osasuna.

Granada have got their La Liga campaign off to the best possible start by beating Osasuna 2-1 at El Sadar.

There was little to choose between the two sides until Youssef El-Arabi got on the end of Allan-Romeo Nyom's cross to open the scoring in the 38th minute.

The home side were then shocked by a second on the stroke of half time, as former Portsmouth man Hassan Yebda headed home Dani Benitez's corner kick.

Francisco Punal got his team back in the game with a stunning strike in the 58th minute, but that was the only time Jose Luis Mendilibar's men found a way past Roberto.
