Carlo Ancelotti has rubbished the notion that Paris Saint-Germain are overly dependent on Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The 31-year-old has scored 13 goals in 13 appearances since his mega-money move from AC Milan in the summer, leading some to label Les Parisiens a 'one-man team'.
However, Ancelotti said that the Swede was bought for a reason - to score goals.
"I don't think we are dependent on Zlatan," said the Italian. "We brought him here because he has a strong personality, and a lot of qualities.
"He scores a lot of goals. Every time he scores, it's good for him and for the team.
"I think the team also works hard for him in order to put him in the best position to score. It's as simple as that."
Ibrahimovic was recently named the Ligue 1 Player of the Month for September.
