Paris-Saint Germain are reportedly blocking both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar from taking part in the Olympics later this year so they can prepare for the domestic season.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to block both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar from taking part in the Olympics later this year.

The two PSG stars are under consideration to play in the summer tournament, but the Ligue 1 side are preventing both players from taking part.

According to L'Equipe, the French side have sent a letter to the French Football Federation to block Mbappe's involvement with the event, despite being selected in the preliminary squad.

The club are hoping to give the 21-year-old time off in order to prepare for their next domestic season.

PSG are also believed to take a similar approach with Neymar, who won an Olympic gold medal with his country back in 2016.
