The 35-year-old, who left Manchester United at the end of last season following a 12-year spell, underwent fitness tests today ahead of a proposed one-year deal at Loftus Road.
All that is left for the defender is to sign on the dotted line after he confirmed on Twitter that everything went to plan regarding his medical.
