Toronto striker Jermain Defoe has reportedly arrived in London amid speculation surrounding his future.
It has been claimed that the former England international has decided to leave the MLS club, whom he joined in February of this year, following the recent sacking of head coach Ryan Nelsen.
That is said to have captured the attention of Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp, who is thought to want to bolster his attacking options before tonight's 11pm deadline.
Defoe, 31, has today returned to his native England, with potential talks over a move to Loftus Road due to be held in the near future, according to Sky Sports News.
Further speculation has suggested that Crystal Palace may also harbour an interest in the centre-forward.
