Newly-appointed Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp reportedly wants to sign David Beckham on a free transfer.
The 37-year-old revealed last week that he will leave Los Angeles Galaxy after the MLS Cup final in December.
A number of clubs have been linked with the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder, including Australian outfit Melbourne Heart.
Now, according to The Mirror, Redknapp is keen to sign Beckham to help him retain QPR's Premier League status.
It has also been reported that QPR chairman Tony Fernandes will back the 65-year-old in his bid to persuade the six-time Premier League winner to join the London club.
QPR are currently at the foot of the Premier League with four points from 13 matches.
