West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has reportedly confirmed his interest in signing David Beckham.
The former England star has attracted interest from a number of clubs after announcing his plans to leave Los Angeles Galaxy next month, and the Hammers boss has admitted that he would be welcome at Upton Park provided he is match fit.
"Yes, I would like to see a fit David Beckham at West Ham," The Sun quotes Allardyce as saying. "But he would need to come and do a fitness test like any other player."
Beckham will part company with his US club after five years Stateside following next month's MLS Cup final against Houston Dynamo.
Paris Saint-Germain, Shanghai Shenhua, Melbourne Heart, Flamengo and Corinthians have also been linked with the former Manchester United man.
