Andres Iniesta: 'We should enjoy El Clasico win'

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta calls on his side to "enjoy" Sunday's 2-1 victory over Real Madrid.

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has called on his team to "enjoy" Sunday's 2-1 win over Real Madrid in El Clasico.

The Spaniard has said that both teams enjoyed control during stages of the La Liga clash, but believes that the Catalan outfit deserved to claim all the points.

"There were many different phases to the game, they controlled the ball, then we did. Both teams had scoring chances," Inside Spanish Football has quoted Iniesta as saying.

"Two great teams against each other and in midfield, we tried to control the ball as much as possible, but it's difficult against a team of this level. I think this is a day we should all enjoy."

Luis Suarez scored the winner for the hosts after Cristiano Ronaldo had cancelled out an early header from Jeremy Mathieu.
