Alvaro Arbeloa: 'We are hungry for more trophies'

Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa targets more trophies for Los Blancos this season.

Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa has said that Los Blancos are "hungry for lots of trophies" this season.

The capital outfit won both the Champions League and Copa del Rey last season, but fell short of Atletico Madrid in the league.

Madrid's search for more silverware continues tomorrow evening when they face Sevilla in the final of the European Super Cup.

"We're hungry for lots of trophies and now we have a chance to win another one, so we mustn't waste it," he told UEFA.com.

"Winning the Champions League is very difficult. We have to keep the bar high.

"We played in the final last year and reached the semi-finals the previous three years and I think that's what we have to aim for. Winning it is very tough, but Real should always be there or thereabouts."

Arbeloa was not part of the Spain squad that travelled to the World Cup this summer.
