Dani Carvajal, Gareth Bale both to miss Real Valladolid clash

Dani Carvajal and Gareth Bale will both miss Real Madrid's La Liga clash against Real Valladolid on Wednesday.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Dani Carvajal and Gareth Bale will both miss Wednesday's La Liga clash against Real Valladolid.

Victory for Los Blancos would move them two points behind La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid with just two games remaining, but the Italian will be without two key players for the Spanish fixture.

Cristiano Ronaldo, however, who scored a stoppage-time equaliser against Valencia last time out, has been declared fit and available.

"Cristiano is fine, but a little tired. He only took part in a section of the training session. He's available for Valladolid," Ancelotti told reporters at a press conference.

"[Dani] Carvajal is struggling and is unavailable, and [Gareth] Bale has a knock and is out."

Madrid have already won the Copa del Rey this season and will contest the final of the Champions League against Atletico Madrid later this month.
