Midfielder Omar Mascarell has revealed that he has relished the opportunity to develop as a player during his loan spell with Derby County.
Mascarell has made 12 appearances for the Rams since signing on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid, and the Spaniard, who has made one senior appearance for the La Liga giants, has admitted that he is learning on a daily basis by playing a different style of football.
The 21-year-old told BBC Radio Derby: "There are many differences between Spanish and English football. Here in England, the football is quicker and stronger, while in Spain it is more controlled.
"I'm happy to learn about the football here and it will be good for me."
Derby are currently top of the Championship standings.
