Gareth Bale makes his debut for Real Madrid against Villarreal in La Liga this evening.

Gareth Bale has been included in Real Madrid's starting lineup for their La Liga clash against Villarreal away from home.

Tonight will mark the Wales international winger's debut for the club he joined from Tottenham Hotspur for a reported world-record transfer fee of £85m.

Cristiano Ronaldo also starts for Los Blancos, with Karim Benzema acting as the lone striker and Isco continuing to function as the playmaker in midfield.
