New Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte wants to sign Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio, according to a report.

New Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is reportedly keen to sign Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio this summer.

Inter are expected to be busy ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, with the likes of Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku and Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen recently linked with switches to San Siro.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Asensio has emerged as a feasible target for Inter, with the Spain international struggling to perform during the 2018-19 season.

The 23-year-old, who is currently on Spain duty, only scored one La Liga goal last term.

That said, the attacker has a contract at the Bernabeu until the summer of 2023 and is believed to be valued by Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane despite his recent struggles.

Tottenham Hotspur have also recently been credited with an interest in the Spaniard.
