Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has reportedly signed a new five-year deal with the club.
The 27-year-old became the world's most expensive player when he moved to the Bernabeu in 2013, and he has since helped the club to win two Champions League titles.
Bale's initial deal was not due to expire until 2019, but Marca reports that he has now agreed new terms which will make him the joint second highest-paid player at Real, level with Sergio Ramos and behind only Cristiano Ronaldo.
The new contract will keep Bale at the European champions until 2021, while Ronaldo is also thought to have agreed a deal that will be confirmed in September.
Madrid have had an uncharacteristically quiet transfer window so far, with the return of Alvaro Morata from Juventus their only major signing.
