Real Madrid reportedly have no plans to recall Martin Odegaard from his loan spell with Real Sociedad during the January transfer window.

Real Madrid reportedly intend to allow Martin Odegaard to spend the entire season on loan at Real Sociedad.

Having spent the last two-and-a-half years in the Dutch top flight, Real have allowed the 20-year-old to link up with Sociedad for this campaign.

However, the midfielder has arguably been La Liga's most impressive player over the opening six matches, contributing two goals and one assist to help his temporary team sit in second position in the table.

The Norwegian's form has led to suggestions that Real may contemplate cutting short their agreement with Sociedad in order to integrate the prospect into their first-team squad.

Marca claims that will not be the case, however, with Real instead preferring Odegaard to earn regular football throughout the season.

Los Blancos are said to have plans in place for the playmaker to remain at the Bernabeu for the next campaign.
