Cristiano Ronaldo 'prepared to force summer Real Madrid exit'

Cristiano Ronaldo remains upset about the lack of support given to him during his tax scandal and is reportedly closer than ever to leaving Real Madrid.

Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly informed club chiefs that he wants to leave at the end of the season and will force a way out if he is not granted his wish.

The Portugal international remained at the Bernabeu in the summer despite strong suggestions that he intended to quit, alerting the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and former club Manchester United.

Ronaldo is understood to still be upset about his lack of support during a prolonged tax scandal case which, according to El Chiringuito TV, has led to a huge rift between the five-time Ballon d'Or winner and president Florentino Perez.

Despite publicly declaring his intention to remain in the Spanish capital for life, the report claims that Ronaldo feels the time is right to move on and he is said to be "closer than ever" to departing the Bernabeu.

Long-serving forward Ronaldo is under contract with Los Blancos until 2021, but he will not extend his terms and is hoping that rival clubs will not be put off by his hefty valuation.
