James Morrison believes that Scotland will never have a better chance to beat Germany ahead of Sunday's Euro 2016 qualifier.
Gordon Strachan's side travel to Dortmund this weekend to become the first team to test the world champions since their triumph in Brazil.
Nevertheless, Morrison is unperturbed by Germany's recent achievements and hopes that Joachim Low's troops will be suffering from a hangover of sorts.
He told Sky Sports News: "It is the worst start that we could probably have had.
"But on the other hand, it is probably the best time to play them coming off a victory that they probably celebrated for two weeks solid as I think I would.
"But as players you want to test yourself against the best and we will be playing against the best. They are world champions, they have some great players and they showed that in the World Cup."
The clash is scheduled to kick off at 7.45pm.
