Sevilla have reportedly held positive talks with Porto regarding a move for Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar.
The 26-year-old netted 24 goals for the Portuguese giants last season, helping them to the Primeira Liga title.
Sevilla, meanwhile, are keen to bolster their forward line ahead of the new La Liga season as new manager Pablo Machin seeks to bring in support for Wissam Ben Yedder.
According to Goal.com, the La Liga side have tabled in a bid worth €20m (£17.8m) for Aboubakar, who has been on Porto's books since his 2014 move from French club Lorient.
However, Sevilla are reportedly unable to match Aboubakar's currently salary at Porto, said to be in the region of €2.75m (£2.45m) per year.
Aboubakar spent the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Besiktas, scoring 12 goals in 27 appearances as the Turkish giants won the Superlig title.
