Rodrigo hails Paco Alcacer

Rodrigo praises Valencia and Spain teammate Paco Alcacer following the striker's run of goalscoring form.

Rodrigo has lavished praise on Valencia and Spain teammate Paco Alcacer following the striker's strong run of form.

Alcacer has scored three times in four appearances for Spain this season, while he has also netted four times for his club.

Both forwards appeared in Spain's 4-0 win over Luxembourg last night and Rodrigo has paid tribute to his fellow striker, who netted La Roja's second in the Euro 2016 qualifier.

"[Paco] is on an incredible run of form, he had a brilliant start to La Liga and with the national team he's scored three goals in his past three qualifying games," he told reporters after the match.

Rodrigo is currently on loan at Valencia from Benfica.
