Spain centre-back Gerard Pique has insisted that his side don't consider themselves favourites for the upcoming Confederations Cup.
La Roja will go into the tournament as the reigning world and European champions and have been widely tipped to add the Confederations Cup to their honours list this summer.
However, Pique says that the players are taking nothing for granted going into the competition.
"We don't think of ourselves as favourites or number one, but we know we have a good chance in the World Cup or Confederations Cup," he said.
"We keep our feet on the ground, and it is a great feeling in the dressing room."
Spain will open their campaign against Uruguay on Sunday.
