Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood reveals that Christian Eriksen is fit for Thursday's Europa League tie at home to Benfica.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has revealed that Christian Eriksen is available for Thursday's Europa League tie at home to Benfica.

The Danish midfielder, 22, has missed Spurs' last two matches due to a back injury.

"Christian has contributed well in his last few matches, both goals and assists and it's great to have him back in contention," Sherwood told the club's official website.

Tottenham welcome Benfica to White Hart Lane for the first leg of their last-16 encounter.
