Preview: Tottenham Hotspur vs. Sheriff Tiraspol

Sports Mole previews Thursday's Europa League clash as Tottenham Hotspur entertain Sheriff Tiraspol.

Tottenham Hotspur can book their place in the next round of the Europa League on Thursday with a win over Moldova's Sheriff Tiraspol at White Hart Lane.

Spurs head into the match at the top of Group K thanks to three consecutive wins in the competition.

Third-placed Sheriff need at least a draw if they are to keep alive their slim hopes of making it through to the last 32.

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is expected to rest a number of key players, with Hugo Lloris, Michael Dawson and Robert Soldado all likely to miss out.

Meanwhile, Sheriff have no new injury concerns going into the encounter.
