Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has said that he expects goals from new signing Gylfi Sigurdsson this season.
The Icelandic international, who recently sealed a move from Hoffenheim, got off the mark for his new club in last week's friendly win at Stevenage.
"Gylfi has tremendous goalscoring attributes," said Villas-Boas. "We have seen him open his account with a great goal, which is important for him.
"He has a real eye in front of goal. That's vital in a player. I'm sure there's more to come during the season."
Spurs start the new Premier League campaign at Newcastle United on August 18.
