Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle will not force his squad to play if they feel they have not recovered from Fabrice Muamba's heart scare.
The Trotters midfielder was rushed to the London Chest hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest during Bolton's abandoned FA Cup tie with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The 24-year-old's condition appears to be improving after it emerged that he had spoken to and joked with his teammates on Tuesday.
However, Coyle is not underestimating the psychological effects the incident may have had on some of his players and has urged them to tell him if they feel unready to return to action.
Bolton's scheduled midweek match with Aston Villa was postponed in light of the events, but the Premier League strugglers plan to fulfil their fixture with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
