Former Tottenham Hotspur manager George Graham believes that ex-England boss Fabio Capello would not "fit" the mold at White Hart Lane.
The current manager of the Russian national team, who watched Spurs lose 5-0 to Liverpool at White Hart Lane on Sunday, has been linked with the position following the dismissal of Andre Villas-Boas on Monday.
"He's quite friendly with [sporting director Franco] Baldini I just think he's probably past his best now," Graham told BBC Radio Five Live.
"I think he's a very opinionated, very strong manager and I don't think that would fit with Tottenham.
"He could take it on a short-term basis until the end of the season and then take Russia to the World Cup so that's a possibility."
Tim Sherwood, who has taken temporary charge of the side, has been tipped for the full-time role.
