Joey Barton tips Fabio Capello for Tottenham Hotspur job

Joey Barton tips former England boss Fabio Capello to be offered the Tottenham Hotspur job.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has backed Fabio Capello to be appointed the next manager of Tottenham Hotspur.

The Premier League outfit are in the market for a new boss following their decision to part company with Andre Villas-Boas earlier today.

"AVB had to go really. 6-0/5-0 against rivals after spending £100m+ in the last window. Reckon they'll go for Capello now," he wrote on Twitter.

Former England boss Capello is among the early favourites with the bookmakers to fill the void.
