Harry Redknapp: Tottenham "dominated" Everton

Harry Redknapp hails Tottenham's midweek triumph over Everton.

Harry Redknapp has praised Tottenham Hotspur's performance against Everton in midweek.

Tottenham, who were 2-0 winners at White Hart Lane, move to within three points of first place in the Premier League as a result, following goals from Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

"The passing, the crispness of the passing and the movement off the ball was fantastic," he told the club's official website. "I enjoy watching it and I'm sure the spectators must enjoy watching us play.

"You never get an easy game against Everton. David [Moyes] had a very attacking-looking team and they went for it. They started the game well, but we got on top and played very well in the end.

"They have good players so we needed that goal and once we scored, we dominated the game. After that we had plenty of possession and we played some fantastic football at times."

Meanwhile, Tottenham have moved eight points clear of fourth-placed Chelsea.
