Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that midfielder Scott Parker has returned to light training.
The 32-year-old has not played a competitive match since featuring in England's penalty-kick defeat to Italy at Euro 2012 in June.
"Scott's having his first training sessions and we're now looking to build-up his fitness levels," reported Villas-Boas. "Not only that, it's important for a player who has been out to get a feel for his teammates again, to stop training individually and get together with the group.
"We'll build up his fitness and then we can look at the options for him."
Parker, whose current contract expires in the summer of 2015, appeared 34 times for Spurs in all competitions last season.
