Tottenham Hotspur kept in dressing room for an hour after Liverpool defeat?

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood reportedly keeps his side in the dressing room for an hour following their 4-0 defeat to Liverpool today.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood reportedly kept his side in the dressing room for an hour following their 4-0 thumping at the hands of Liverpool this afternoon.

Spurs made a dreadful start to the match as Younes Kaboul turned the ball into his own net within two minutes of kickoff, setting the tone for another heavy defeat to the Reds.

The result means that Spurs have picked up just one point and scored two goals in eight games against the top four this season, conceding a whopping 27 in the process.

It also leaves Spurs eight points off fourth-placed Arsenal and four behind Everton having played a game more than the fifth-placed Toffees.

Sherwood has made his displeasure known at how his side have performed against the big teams this season, and he was once again reportedly furious with his players this afternoon.

Reports on social networking site Twitter have even suggested that the manager was involved in a physical altercation with one of his players, although those rumours are unconfirmed.
