Paul Lambert makes three changes for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur.

Aston Villa have made three changes their starting XI for the trip to Tottenham Hotspur from the 8-0 thrashing at the hands of Chelsea.

Joe Bennett comes into the defence for Eric Lichaj, Fabien Delph replaces Andreas Wiemann and Karim El Ahmady is in for Barry Bannan.

For Spurs, it is a familiar-looking lineup, with Emmanuel Adebayor continuing to partner Jermain Defoe despite Spurs drawing a blank against Stoke City.

There are two changes for Spurs and both in defence, with both William Gallas and Kyle Naughton starting.

Villa: Guzan; Lowton, Baker, Clark, Bennett; Holman, Westwood, Herd, El Ahmadi, Delph; Benteke

Spurs: Lloris; Walker, Gallas, Vertonghen, Naughton; Sandro, Dembele, Lennon, Bale; Adebayor, Defoe
