Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made progress as they look to secure a deal for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
Despite having already broken their transfer record to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon, Spurs remain keen to make further additions during the summer transfer window.
A previous report suggested that the Premier League side may have to scrap ambitions to bring in Lo Celso if they were unable to part ways with Christian Eriksen, who has just one year left on his contract.
However, reports in Spain are saying that Spurs are "80%" of the way through negotiations for the Argentina international.
Spurs are allegedly prepared to sell a combination of Eriksen, Victor Wanyama and Eric Dier in order to fund a deal.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a terrific campaign last season, contributing a total of nine goals and four assists from 32 La Liga appearances.
