Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to finalising a deal for MK Dons youngster Dele Alli.
The 18-year-old is said to have caught the eye of a number of Premier League clubs during this transfer window, most notably Newcastle United, who seemingly had high hopes of landing the midfielder.
However, it is Spurs who now appear to have won the race for his signature on deadline day.
It has been suggested by BBC Sport that Alli, who has scored 12 goals this season for the Dons, could arrive at White Hart Lane for a fee in the region of £4m.
That move could potentially also include a number of add-ons, while it is claimed that the sought-after star will be loaned straight back to his current club until the end of the campaign.
