Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly leading Atletico Madrid in the race to sign £27m-rated midfielder Dani Olmo from Dinamo Zagreb.
The Lilywhites have loosened the financial shackles this summer by bringing in Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon in a club-record £62.5m deal, as well as signing Jack Clarke and loaning him straight back to Leeds United.
Spain Under-21s international Olmo is next on Mauricio Pochettino's radar and, according to Spanish daily AS, Spurs are in prime position to land him.
Atletico have showed an interest in the youngster, who starred for his country at the recent Under-21 European Championship, but the report indicates that he favours a move to the Premier League.
Olmo's arrival at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could then potentially allow Christian Eriksen to leave, with Real Madrid his most likely destination.
