Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood has responded to reports that the club are close to agreeing a deal to sign Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger Yevhen Konoplyanka.
The Ukraine international was in negotiations with Liverpool in the closing stages of the January transfer window, but a move failed to materialise.
It has now been claimed by Dnipro president Ihor Kolomoyskyi that the club are in contact with Spurs regarding a possible transfer for the 24-year-old player.
"Konoplyanka is certainly one who's being talked about, but nothing definitive," Sky Sports News quotes Sherwood as saying.
Sherwood has also claimed that he expects to remain at White Hart Lane next season, and wants full control over future transfer activity.
