Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to sit down with Christian Eriksen and thrash out terms on a new contract for the Danish playmaker.
The 26-year-old is understood to have shelved talks on a new deal after failing to reach an agreement during the summer.
Eriksen, whose existing deal expires at the end of the 2019-20 season, is said to have been holding out for wages of £160,000 a week.
After appearing to reach an impasse in discussions, however, The Sun suggests that Tottenham are now willing to negotiate further in the hope of finding middle ground.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are rumoured to be keen on landing Eriksen in 2019.
Meanwhile, Spurs teammate Dele Alli appears to be close to agreeing fresh terms with the North London outfit.
