Sports Mole previews Harry Redknapp's first match in charge of Queens Park Rangers at Sunderland.

The failure of Queens Park Rangers to win a match in the Premier League this season ultimately cost Mark Hughes his job last week. As expected, Harry Redknapp was the man who has since been appointed to try to rescue the R's.

His first match in charge is against Sunderland - another side and manager who are desperate for a victory.

Martin O'Neill's men have won just twice this season and only once in front of their own supporters, who have grown increasingly frustrated.

Maximum points for QPR won't be enough to lift them of the bottom of the Premier League table, but it could do wonders for their confidence. Meanwhile, the Black Cats would ease their relegation fears with a triumph.

Redknapp could make a number of alterations for his first encounter as Rangers boss, with the likes of Anton Ferdinand, Esteban Granero and Junior Hoilett all pushing for recalls.

On the other hand, Sunderland are likely to be without captain Lee Cattermole, who is suffering with a knee injury.
