Sunderland will reportedly make a January move for Queens Park Rangers' Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
Cesar, 34, was QPR's first-choice keeper as they suffered relegation from the Premier League last season but he is yet to make an appearance this term, with Robert Green the number one at Loftus Road.
Cesar recently said that he was in talks with other clubs about a move away in January so that he can give himself a chance of being named in Brazil's World Cup squad.
According to the Daily Mail, Sunderland manager Gus Poyet is interested in bringing Cesar to the Stadium of Light on loan until the end of the season, even though QPR would prefer a permanent transfer away.
