Swansea City have announced the arrival of James Demetriou from Nottingham Forest on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old, who was not offered a new contract at the City Ground this summer, has signed a two-year deal at the Liberty Stadium.
"It's great to be here," Demetriou told the club's official website. "It has taken a long time to get sorted but it feels good and I just want to get my head down now and focus on the season ahead.
"Swansea are a Premier League club, they play a great brand of football and they are a team that gives young players an opportunity. My short-term aim is get game time and try to score as many goals as I can, but long-term I want to break into the first-team here and impress the manager."
The teenager will join up with the Under-21 squad following his arrival.
