Swansea City youngster Kenji Gorre has penned a new three-year deal at the club.

The 20-year-old, who has been linked with moves to Sunderland and Leicester City in the past, had just 12 months left to run on his existing contract.

Netherlands-born Gorre joined the Swans' academy set-up in 2013, following stints at Manchester United and nearby rivals Manchester City.

Having impressed at Development League Two level last season, scoring twice against Huddersfield Town in the playoff final, the Welsh outfit were quick to tie the winger down to fresh terms.

Gorre has made one senior appearance for Swansea, which came on the final day of the 2014-15 campaign away at Crystal Palace.
