Sweden hitman Zlatan Ibrahimovic has intimated that he may retire from international football if he fails to lead his nation past Denmark and into Euro 2016.
Ibrahimovic and his teammates play host to the Danes on Saturday as the Swedes look to draw first blood in the playoff ahead of the return leg on Tuesday.
"If it's over [for me] after the playoffs? We'll see," the 34-year-old is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "If you're asking me now? No. If you ask me after the playoffs? I don't know."
The Paris Saint-Germain striker has never scored against Denmark, but went on to play down that 'meaningless' statistic ahead of tomorrow.
He added: "It doesn't mean anything. There will be goals when there are goals. If we create chances, they'll turn up."
Ibrahimovic made his international debut in 2001 and has since clocked 109 caps, scoring 59 times in the process.
